Three day show will have big names, online and in-person attendance, and a collaboration with the NHRA

KENT, Wash., June 11, 2021 — Show organizers today announced the second annual Engine Performance Expo will be held October 12 through 14, 2021. The Engine Performance Expo is a unique online event providing hands-on education, live demonstrations and interactive Q & A sessions with the Performance Engine industry’s leading builders, manufacturers and educators. Already confirmed are appearances by Joe Patelle, George Bryce, Mark Cronquist, Scooter Brothers, Keith & Jeff Dorton, Jon Kaase, Larry Clark, Joe Stef, and Warren & Kurt Johnson. Online attendance is free and available from anywhere via computer or mobile device. Up to 200 people will also be able to attend in person.

Skills and Business Focus
The second Engine Performance Expo will again offer 30+ sessions over the three days covering the latest in engine building technologies, tools and techniques. New to this show will be a number of hands-on sessions focused on earning a living in the industry, including career paths and training, and best practices in building, growing and managing an engine building business. The AERA Engine Builders Association, EFI University and the School of Automotive Machinists and Technology are among those who will be holding educational sessions and demonstrations.

As with the first event, held last January, the expo will be a mix of live demonstrations and audience Q&A, appearances by industry legends, all augmented by pre-recorded sessions and broadcast from Straub Technologies state-of-the-art facilities in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Unlike the first Expo, in addition to being able to watch the entire program online, the October show will also be open for in-person attendance for up to 200 people. Tickets for in person attendance will be available beginning in July.

Engine Performance Expo and the NHRA
The Engine Performance Expo will be held October 12-14 in Piney Flats, TN just before the NHRA’s Thunder Valley Nationals, which will be held October 15-17 in nearby Bristol, TN, giving people a unique opportunity to attend both events. For those who can’t attend, the NHRA is also scheduled to simulcast the first two days of the expo on its live streaming channel, NHRA.TV.
