Michael Osterhaus is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in mechanical engineering and holds the position of V.P. of Aftermarket Products with Melling.
Mike’s background in automotive oil pumps began in 1988 with a Product Design Engineer position with Hoof Products in Maquoketa, Iowa. In that role he designed oil pumps and timing components. In 1995 Mike accepted a Product Engineer position with Melling Tool Company in Jackson, Michigan. Since that time Mike has worked on the design or improvement of a wide assortment of original equipment, replacement and performance oil pumps and components. Along the way earning a patent on high performance oil pumps.
