Three day all digital event for engine builders will be held October 14 through 16, 2021

KENT, Wash., March 3, 2021 — Show organizers today announced the second annual Engine Performance Expo will be held October 12 through 14, 2021.

The Expo is a unique online event providing hands-on education, live demonstrations and interactive Q & A sessions with the Performance Engine industry’s leading manufacturers, suppliers and engine builders. Attendance is free and available from anywhere via computer or mobile device.

“We started the Expo to fill the gap left by the cancellation of the big industry shows because of the Covid pandemic,” said David Bianchi of Rottler Manufacturing, one of the show’s founders. “Even though the event was put together in very short period of time, attendance was much larger than we had hoped and the response overwhelmingly positive,” he added.

The first Engine Performance Expo was held January 7-9, 2021 and included demonstrations, interviews and live audience question and answer sessions with industry titans such as Doug Yates, Ed Pink, Warren Johnson and John Kaase. Over the three days and 27 live and pre-recorded sessions, nearly 50 of the performance engine industry’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, associations, and service providers contributed their parts, tools and talents to deliver an unprecedented show. Famed NHRA track announcer and “Podfather of Drag Racing,” Joe Castello, hosted the event along with Lake Speed, Jr. of Total Seal Piston Rings, another founder of the event.

“I was blown away by the response to the first Expo,” Speed said. “I’ve done a lot of industry shows and events and nothing compares to the caliber of people, demonstrations and audience participation we had in those three days.”

The second Engine Performance Expo will again cover the latest in engine building technologies and tools, but will also include a greater variety of engines, and place a more focus on educational seminars and trade tips designed to help a new generation of engine builders move the industry forward. As with the first event, the expo will be a mix of live demonstrations, audience Q&A, appearances by industry legends, and pre-recorded educational sessions, all broadcast from Straub Technologies’ state-of-the-art facilities in Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Show organizers also promise some special surprises that will even top the $10,000 value LS Short Block they gave away to an audience member at the close of the first event.

For those who missed it, or want to revisit the first annual Engine Performance Expo, the event is being made available online as a 27-part mini-series beginning March 4, 2021. New episodes will be released each Thursday. Viewers can watch on the Expo’s YouTube channel or on the Engine Performance Expo website.
