In this episode we get into custom parts manufacturing using the Rottler 69 series machines.
First, we visit Cass Choate at Choate Engineering Performance in Bolivar, Tennessee to get a demo of him building some billeted main caps for a Duramax diesel on a Rottler F69 ATC.
Then we head across state to Piney Flats and Straub Technologies where Chris Straub and Jaden McCurry show us how to port an LSA blower manifold with the Rottler EM69P.
Following that demo, we head up to Rottler’s facilities in Kent, Washington to see how to create closed deck inserts with the EM69P and mill a custom profile on a Callies crankshaft using the EM69HP.
Finally, we return to the studio where host Joe Castello is joined by Cass Choate and Jaden McCurry to answer questions from the viewer audience on custom parts machining and offer tips and tricks they’ve learned along the way.
