In this episode Ed Keibler heads on over to Tim Wilkerson’s Capital City Machine Shop in Springfield, IL, home of Team Wilkerson Racing and the Levi, Ray & Shoup Shelby Mustang Funny Car team, to get the inside scoop on welding and repairing a top fuel aluminum block.
During the session, viewers get an in-depth walkthrough on the steps necessary to prepare and restore a damaged block to race-ready condition.
Following the in-shop demonstration, Ed returns to the studio to sit down with show host, Joe Castello, and AERA’s Chuck Lynch, for a live question and answer session from the viewing audience.
