Episode 31 – Engine Builder Interview: Mark Cronquist

In this episode EP Expo MC Joe Castello and show host Lake Speed Jr sit down with Mark Cronquist, the legendary lead engine builder for Joe Gibbs Racing, for a wide ranging interview on everything from the “no rules” days of NASCAR (i.e., the early 90’s), to the desert offroad truck racing of today. They talk about modern engine development and what Mark has learned in the move from the Chevy small and big blocks to the RO7.

Additionally, Mark also provides some very entertaining stories about the stuff that goes on behind the scenes in professional racing. A fantastic interview by any measure, and definitely worth the watch!
